Authenticated post-meta disclosure via missing capability check
Published Mar 14, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Code Amp Search & Filter Pro 2.5.19 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary post meta. The get_meta_values function returns attacker-selected post metadata without checking whether the caller has permission to access it. Subscriber-level WordPress access is sufficient; the reported impact is limited to disclosure of stored post metadata.
