CVE-2025-15276

Code execution via unvalidated SFD deserialization

Published Dec 31, 2025 · Updated Dec 31, 2025

Deserialization of untrusted data in FontForge SFD parsing allows remote attackers to execute code by opening a crafted font file. The SFD parser reconstructs serialized user-supplied data without adequate validation, allowing attacker-controlled content to execute in the current process. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the affected field and parser function are undisclosed.
