Administrator-session script execution via stored chat messages
Published Jan 14, 2026 · Updated Jan 14, 2026
Stored XSS in ahmadgb Geeky Bot 1.1.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through unauthenticated chat messages. The chat handler stores message-field input without sufficient sanitization, and the Chat History view renders it without output escaping. Execution occurs only when an administrator opens Chat History, exposing the administrator's browser session to attacker-controlled script actions.
