Open redirect via unsanitized wlan-url parameter
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
Open redirect in Edimax BR-6208AC 1.02 and 1.03 allows remote authenticated users to redirect browser requests via wlan-url. The formALGSetup handler at /goform/formALGSetup accepts the wlan-url argument and uses its untrusted value as a redirect destination without restricting the target. Low-privileged access and user interaction are required, and successful exploitation can send the interacting user to an attacker-chosen site.
