Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked strcpy
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda M3 1.0.0.13(4903) allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via cmdinput. The formexeCommand handler in /bin/httpd copies cmdinput with strcpy without sanitization or a destination-size bound. Low-privilege web access is required; oversized POST data can crash the controller or hijack its control flow.
