Authenticated code execution via unchecked parameter copies
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
Heap-based buffer overflow in Tenda M3 1.0.0.13(4903) allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted LAN request. In /bin/httpd, formSetRemoteInternetLanInfo copies the portIp, portMask, portGateWay, portDns, and portSecDns parameters with memcpy without bounds checks. The handler is reached when ac.workmode is master and a Cookie supplies a valid devUid IP-and-port value; oversized input corrupts the heap and enables arbitrary code execution.
