Reflected XSS via unencoded redirectUrl parameter
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
Reflected XSS in SohuTV CacheCloud 3.0 through 3.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via redirectUrl. The LoginController.init method copies the untrusted redirectUrl query parameter into the login-page model, where the template emits it without output encoding. Exploitation requires a user to load the crafted login URL and permits script execution in the CacheCloud web origin, allowing data accessible to that origin to be read or altered.
