Authenticated code execution via unchecked lanMask copy
Published Dec 30, 2025 · Updated Dec 30, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda AC10U 15.03.06.48 and 15.03.06.49 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted lanMask. The fromadvsetlanip handler passes the attacker-controlled POST value to strcpy into an indexed LAN-setting buffer without checking its length. Low-privileged management access is required, and successful exploitation grants code execution in the router firmware context.
