Authenticated script execution via unencoded client parameters
Published Dec 29, 2025 · Updated Dec 29, 2025
Cross-site scripting in SohuTV CacheCloud 3.0 through 3.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user’s browser. AppClientDataShowController adds the firstClient and firstCommand request parameters to view models without output encoding. Administrative access is required to reach the statistics endpoints, and a user must load the crafted response, enabling page-content modification in that user’s session.
