CVE-2025-15192Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unchecked FOTA URL

Published Dec 29, 2025 · Updated Dec 29, 2025

Command injection in D-Link DWR-M920 1.1.50 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands via fota_url. The handler passes fota_url through sprintf without a length check into a stack buffer, then gives the resulting string to system without neutralizing shell metacharacters. A valid web-interface session is required; injected commands run on the router, and oversized input can also crash the service.
