Authenticated code execution via overlong page parameter
Published Dec 29, 2025 · Updated Dec 29, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda WH450 1.0.0.18 allows remote authenticated users to execute code or crash the router via HTTP. The /goform/SafeMacFilter handler fails to limit the page parameter before processing it in a fixed-size stack buffer. Published CVSS assessments require high privileges, and the public proof of concept invokes the login endpoint before sending the oversized value.
