Database disclosure via web-accessible SQLite file
Published Dec 28, 2025 · Updated Dec 28, 2025
Information disclosure in PbootCMS 3.2.0 through 3.2.12 allows remote attackers to read the SQLite database via a direct web request. The default configuration places /data/pbootcms.db under the web root without a deny rule, while renaming occurs only after the backend home page loads. Exposure requires the default SQLite setup before that first administrative visit, and disclosure reveals the site's complete database, including account hashes and stored secrets.
