Administrator code execution via unsanitized template include
Published Dec 28, 2025 · Updated Dec 28, 2025
Code injection in CmsEasy 7.7.0 through 7.7.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP via template editing. The savetemp_action path passes controlled content to saveCache(), which writes it unchanged under /data/template, and view.php includes that template when pageset is set. Administrator access is required; execution has the web server's privileges and can read, modify, or delete files available to that account.
