Reflected XSS via unsanitized JSONP callback
Published Dec 28, 2025 · Updated Dec 28, 2025
Reflected XSS in XunRuiCMS 4.7.0 and 4.7.1 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted JSONP callback. dr_show_error() and dr_exit_msg() concatenate the callback query parameter directly into JSONP responses without validation or output encoding. Exploitation requires a victim to open an attacker-crafted URL, after which script runs in the XunRuiCMS origin and can alter page content or access browser-held session data.
