Authenticated command execution via peerPin injection
Published Dec 28, 2025 · Updated Dec 28, 2025
Command injection in TRENDnet TEW-822DRE 1.00B21 and 1.01B06 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via peerPin. Function sub_43ACF4 in /boafrm/formWsc processes the peerPin request-body value without neutralizing command syntax before a command interpreter receives it. Access to the web management interface and valid administrator credentials are required, and successful exploitation executes commands on the range extender.
