Authenticated root command execution via wizard parameter
Published Dec 28, 2025 · Updated Dec 28, 2025
Command injection in the TEW-800MB 1.0.1.0 management interface allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The do_setWizard_asp function processes the WizardConfigured argument at /goform/wizardset without neutralizing shell metacharacters before command execution. Access to the network-exposed management interface and a valid low-privilege login are required; successful exploitation grants root command execution.
