Authenticated root command execution via unquoted snapshot path
Published Dec 28, 2025 · Updated Dec 28, 2025
Command injection in ZSPACE Z4Pro+ 1.0.0440024 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through a crafted POST request. zfilev2_api_CloseSafe passes the safe_dir snapshot path into a shell command without neutralizing command-substitution characters. Exploitation requires ordinary user access, a maliciously named path included in a snapshot, and submission of that path to /v2/file/safe/close; commands run as root.
