Default credentials in Ksenia Security lares 1.6 allow remote attackers to gain administrative access through the built-in web server. The legacy lares web server accepts a published weak default administrative credential set instead of requiring unique credentials. Network access to the web server is sufficient to take full control of the alarm and home-automation system; lares 4.0 is not affected.
