Authenticated denial of service via unbounded remark copy
Published Dec 26, 2025 · Updated Dec 26, 2025
Buffer overflow in UTT 进取 512W 1.7.7-171114 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via a crafted remark value. The /goform/ConfigExceptMSN handler passes the remark form value to strcpy at a fixed-offset destination without enforcing a length bound. Digest-authenticated access to the router management interface is required, and the published request targets denial of service rather than demonstrating code execution.
