Authenticated code execution via unchecked wepkey1 copy
Published Dec 25, 2025 · Updated Dec 25, 2025
Buffer overflow in UTT 进取 512W 1.7.7-171114 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code or crash the router. The APSecurity handler passes the attacker-controlled wepkey1 value to strcpy without checking the destination size when security_mode is OPEN, SHARED, or WEPAUTO. Administrative web-interface access is required; a crafted POST can corrupt memory, interrupt routing, or run code on the appliance.
