Unauthenticated administrative access via uncanonicalized URL paths
Published Dec 25, 2025 · Updated Dec 25, 2025
Path traversal in Tenda CH22 firmware 1.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to reach administrative pages through crafted HTTP paths. R7WebsSecurityHandler accepts any URL beginning with the unauthenticated /public/ prefix before the web server resolves embedded ../ segments. No credentials are required, and /public/../../system_upgrade.asp bypasses the filter and exposes the firmware-upgrade interface.
