Code execution via SKP object use-after-free
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
Use-after-free in SKP parsing in Trimble SketchUp 25.0.660 allows remote attackers to execute code through a malicious model file. The SKP parser performs operations on an object without first validating that the object still exists, resulting in use after free. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious SKP file, and successful exploitation runs code in the current process.
