Unauthenticated code execution via unvalidated executeClaudeCode input
Published Mar 13, 2026 · Updated Mar 13, 2026
OS command injection in claude-hovercraft allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through executeClaudeCode without authentication. The executeClaudeCode method passes a user-supplied string to a system call without proper validation, allowing command content to be interpreted by the operating system. Network access is sufficient, and injected code runs with the service account's privileges, bounding the compromise to resources available to that account.
