CVE-2025-15059

Code execution via unchecked PSP data length

Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026

Heap-based buffer overflow in GIMP 3.0.6 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a crafted PSP image. The PSP parser copies user-supplied data into a heap buffer without first validating its declared length. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious page or open the file, and resulting code runs in the current GIMP process.
