CVE-2025-1504Network attack vector

Authenticated restricted-post disclosure via autocomplete authorization bypass

Published Mar 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Information disclosure in Post Lockdown 4.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted posts via autocomplete requests. The pl_autocomplete AJAX handler returns matching password-protected, private, or draft posts without checking the caller's capability or a request nonce. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the consequence is limited to post data returned by the autocomplete response.
