CVE-2025-15035

Authenticated file deletion via OpenVPN path traversal

Published Jan 9, 2026 · Updated Jan 9, 2026

Path traversal in TP-Link Archer AXE75 v1.6 VPN modules through build 20250107 allows remote authenticated users to delete router files. The OpenVPN configuration description accepts a traversal path plus a null byte that truncates the enforced .ovpn suffix before deletion. High-privilege authentication and adjacent-network access are required; deleting critical files can crash the router and leave it unrecoverable.
