CVE-2025-1501Network attack vector

Trace-file disclosure via unenforced access restriction

Published Aug 26, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2025

Incorrect authorization in Nozomi Networks CMC before 25.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to download unauthorized trace files. The Request Trace and Download Trace functions fail to enforce a required access restriction before serving trace files containing network data. Any authenticated account with limited privileges can reach the affected functions and read network data outside assigned authorization; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
