Authenticated memory corruption via unbounded webSiteId concatenation
Published Dec 21, 2025 · Updated Dec 21, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda FH1201 1.2.0.14(408) and FH1206 1.2.0.8(8155) allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory. The /goform/webtypelibrary HTTP handler passes an oversized webSiteId value to strcat without bounding the destination stack buffer. Low-privileged access is required, and a crafted GET request can crash the router or enable code execution in the device context.
