Stored script execution via unescaped post meta
Published Jan 24, 2026 · Updated Jan 24, 2026
Stored XSS in Robiul Awal Alpha Blocks 1.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via alpha_block_css. The block_inline_style.php post-meta path stores alpha_block_css without sufficient sanitization and emits it without output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored script runs in the browser of anyone who views the injected page, enabling actions in that browser session.
