CVE-2025-14972

Key disclosure via repeating DPA countermeasures

Published May 15, 2026 · Updated May 15, 2026

Insufficient entropy in Silicon Labs Simplicity SDK allows physically proximate attackers to recover KSU keys through DPA. Within the SYMCRYPTO engine on SixG301xxx devices, DPA countermeasures are not reseeded with enough entropy and eventually repeat. Repeated physical power measurements can therefore expose KSU key material; no remote, host-OS, integrity, or availability impact is reported.
