CVE-2025-1497Network attack vector

Remote code execution via unvalidated LLM output

Published Mar 10, 2025 · Updated Oct 3, 2025

Code injection in MLJAR PlotAI 0.0.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary Python code through LLM output. The run method in plotai/code/executor.py removes Markdown fence lines, then passes the remaining model response directly to Python exec without validation. Exploitation requires the disabled exec line to be enabled; injected code then runs with the privileges and data access of the hosting Python process.
