Authenticated restricted-post disclosure via incomplete authorization
Published Jan 10, 2026 · Updated Jan 10, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Adenion GmbH Blog2Social 8.7.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted WordPress posts. The getShipItemFullText function accepts a requested post identifier after checking only a valid nonce and the generic read capability, without verifying access to that post. Subscriber-level access and the nonce are sufficient to disclose password-protected, private, or draft content; no write or service-interruption impact is reported.
