CVE-2025-14920

Code execution via untrusted model deserialization

Published Dec 23, 2025 · Updated Dec 23, 2025

Deserialization in the Perceiver model parser in Hugging Face Transformers allows attackers to execute code through a malicious model file. Public records identify insufficient input validation during Perceiver model-file parsing but do not disclose the deserializer, file format, or call path. Execution requires a user to open the crafted file or visit attacker-controlled content and runs with that user's privileges.
