CVE-2025-14910Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via FTP path traversal

Published Dec 19, 2025 · Updated Dec 19, 2025

Path traversal in the FTP Daemon Service of Edimax BR-6208AC 1.02 allows remote authenticated users to read files outside the FTP root. The handle_retr function fails to constrain an FTP RETR pathname to the daemon's restricted directory before resolving the requested file. Valid FTP credentials and an enabled FTP service are required; the bounded impact is disclosure of readable device files on an unsupported model.
