Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jan 16, 2026 · Updated Jan 16, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Bee Interactive Livewire Filemanager before 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute PHP code through its web interface. LivewireFilemanagerComponent.php passes client-supplied files to media storage without validating their extension, file type, or MIME type. Execution requires Laravel's public storage link to expose storage/app/public through /storage/; the payload then runs with the web-server user's file access.
