Physical code execution via unprotected stack writes
Published Apr 7, 2026 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Improper access control in Semtech LR1110, LR1120, and LR1121 firmware allows physically proximate attackers to execute code via SPI. The SPI memory-write command accepts writes to the program call stack without enforcing protected ranges, enabling control-flow hijacking. Exploitation requires physical SPI access; secure boot blocks persistence, the crypto engine isolates keys, and reboot clears the modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
