File-existence disclosure via absolute path traversal
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Absolute path traversal in Advantech WebAccess/SCADA 9.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to determine whether arbitrary files exist. CISA and Advantech have not published the affected endpoint or the operation that accepts an absolute path and tests file existence. Low-privilege network access is required, and the reported consequence is limited to a file-existence oracle rather than file contents.
