CVE-2025-14815

SQL Server credential disclosure via plaintext cache

Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Cleartext credential storage in Mitsubishi Electric automation products allows local users to obtain SQL Server credentials. With local caching enabled, the software writes SQL-authentication credentials without encryption to local SQLite or SDF cache files. A local low-privileged user can reuse the credentials to read, alter, or destroy SQL Server data and interrupt dependent services.
