Unauthenticated server file write via unchecked source path
Published Dec 21, 2025 · Updated Dec 21, 2025
Arbitrary file upload in Themeisle Redirection for Contact Form 7 3.2.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to write server files. The move_file_to_upload function accepts an attacker-controlled file_path value and copies the referenced source into the WordPress uploads area without validating its file type. The unauthenticated AJAX handler accepts local server paths; fetching a remote source additionally requires PHP allow_url_fopen to be On, and the resulting file is stored on the site.
