Email allowlist modification via missing nonce validation
Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Stop Spammers Classic 2026.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to add arbitrary email addresses to the allowlist. The ss_addtoallowlist class accepts an administrator's forged allowlist request without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to interact with an attacker-controlled link or request, after which the added address bypasses spam filtering.
