Plaintext manipulation via uncommitted encrypted data keys

Key-commitment failure in AWS S3 Encryption Client for Java 3.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter decrypted plaintext. Instruction-file mode permits multiple EDKs for one ciphertext without cryptographically binding the key, so a replacement instruction file selects a rogue EDK. Exploitation requires S3 bucket write permission and a specially created EDK that makes the existing ciphertext decrypt to attacker-chosen plaintext.
