Unauthenticated reboot via oversized RTSP DESCRIBE URI
Published Dec 16, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025
Denial of service in the RTSP service of Ningyuanda TC155 57.0.2.0 allows remote attackers on the local network to reboot the camera. The service processes an unauthenticated DESCRIBE request whose URI contains 1,000 A characters, enters a fault state, and automatically reboots. The request reaches TCP port 554 without credentials; each reboot temporarily freezes the live video feed and permits repeatable service interruption.
