Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
Stored XSS in RebelCode WP RSS Aggregator 5.0.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via shortcode attributes. Renderer.php processes user-supplied wp-rss-aggregator shortcode attributes into rendered HTML without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored script executes in a visitor's browser when an affected page is viewed.
