CVE-2025-1474Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthorized account access via missing password minimum

Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025

Weak password enforcement in MLflow before 2.19.0 allows remote authenticated users with admin privileges to create passwordless accounts. The signup form in mlflow/server/auth/init.py omitted minimum-length constraints on username and password inputs, permitting empty passwords. Admin privileges are required to create the account, but a passwordless account then permits unauthorized network access and data modification.
