Administrator-level stored XSS via unsafe settings output
Published Dec 20, 2025 · Updated Dec 20, 2025
Stored XSS in Amazon affiliate lite Plugin 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through admin settings. The ADAL_settings_page code stores admin-setting values without sufficient sanitization, and its settings-page output renders those saved values without context-appropriate escaping. Exploitation requires administrator-level access and is limited to multisite deployments or sites with unfiltered_html disabled; injected script runs when a user loads the affected page.
