CVE-2025-14733Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via oversized IKEv2 certificate chains

Published Dec 19, 2025 · Updated Dec 19, 2025

Out-of-bounds write in Fireware OS iked allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted IKEv2 authentication traffic. The process mishandles certificate chains exceeding eight entries or abnormally large CERT payloads and writes beyond its destination buffer. No authentication is required, but exposure requires an affected IKEv2 VPN configuration; exploitation can compromise appliance data and hang or crash iked.
