Denial of service in IBM Db2 federated server 12.1.0 through 12.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. IBM identifies improper neutralization of special elements in query logic involving federated objects but intentionally withholds the affected functionality and failure path. The issue applies to the Server edition on UNIX/AIX only; Linux and Windows are explicitly unaffected, and IBM does not specify whether exploitation causes a hang or crash.
