CVE-2025-1467Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-site scripting via unsanitized dimension attributes

Published Feb 23, 2025 · Updated Feb 24, 2025

Cross-site scripting in tarteaucitron.js before 1.17.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser via crafted element dimensions. The getElemWidth() and getElemHeight() helpers read width and height attributes directly, bypassing getElemAttr's filtering before those values enter generated markup. Exploitation requires a user to render attacker-influenced dimension attributes; injected script runs in the affected site's browser origin.
