Unauthenticated SQL injection via direct meta_value query
Published Dec 14, 2025 · Updated Dec 14, 2025
SQL injection in itsourcecode COVID Tracking System Using QR-Code in PHP 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database data through meta_value. The SystemSettings.php update_settings handler places the POSTed meta_value parameter directly into an SQL query without validation or parameter binding. No login is required, and the demonstrated time-based blind payload can extract or modify data within the database account's privileges.
