Unauthenticated stored XSS via unchecked color setting
Published Jan 9, 2026 · Updated Jan 9, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Arraytics Eventin 4.0.51 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through plugin settings. The post_settings function omits a capability check, while etn_primary_color is stored without sufficient sanitization and later emitted without escaping. No WordPress account is required; the injected script runs in browsers that load Eventin styles, enabling unauthorized actions in the viewer's session.
